The Athina Township again has been
encroached by mafia.
At the main gate, Athina Township display board was removed
and instead a new board is displayed in the name of
"Cityscape Properties" and a contact no. 9980-63009 is
given. About 100 labors and a number of vehicles were found
in the layout. Three JCBs were found in action. The 3 newly
built houses were found occupied by a number of musclemen.
They have put their 'goondas' on gates, preventing the
rightful owners from entering the layout.
All the original demarcation of the layout were razed out
along with the compound walls, inside roads and other
infrastructures. They are redesigning the layout entirely
and the newly formed plots are put on sale. Phase I layout
is occupied entirely, whereas Phase II demolition is in
progress.
The main
encroacher has started reselling the property to the land
mafias, in acres and the mafias in turn are now going to
sell them as house plots in feet measurement
Athina
Township Welfare Society (ATWS) has taken various
steps including legal action against the criminals and
working for the protection of its members' property.
We urge all the plot owners of Athina Township to
join ATWS and move forward against
the illegal occupancy. Please note that ATWS is working only
for the registered members of the Society and not for all
the plot owners. |
