A brief Report of the Talent Test 2006

Having completed its four years service through various ministries for the glory of our Lord under the banner of True Vision Ministries, Snehadeepam has conducted its annual Talent Competition and the Annual Public Meeting  of this year on 26th August 2006 from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, at United Indian School Auditorium. The ministry which conducts competitions in various talents every year, by uniting the whole churches in Kuwait has pleasure to note that about 180 members of 16 different Pentecostal Churches have participated in the 310 programme. Scoring the highest number of points, the church, IPC Kuwait won the ever-rolling Trophy for the year 2006.

With a word of prayer, the IPC Kuwait region Secretary Pastor K.P.Mathew inaugurated the competition at 8.30 am which have been staged in four different venues within the premises of United Indian School. The presence of the various Pastors of different churches in Kuwait during the program was really a blessing for the event.

A praise and worship service was conducted during the interval time, under the leadership of  Pastor Thomas Mathew of Church of God Ahmadi which maintained the Pentecostal atmosphere therein.

Having completed the tight competitions of various items, the Annual Meeting of the ministry has been held at 3.30 pm which was presided by its chairman Bro. Thomas K. Varghese. Advocate John Thomas being the Chief Guest of the meeting, delivered a thoughtful message to the participants in order to urge them to enhance their talents for the Glory of our Lord. During the welcome speech, the Director of  True Vision Ministry, Bro. Sam Thomas briefed the purpose, works and services of the Ministry to the audience and acknowledged with gratitude the valuable supports from Pastors and other believers of Kuwait. Number of Pastors and well wishers from various churches and other Christian Ministries have participated in the meeting and offered their felicitations to the ministry. Most of the Pastors of the Pentecostal Churches namely Pastors K.P. Mathew, Manoj Thomas, Thomas Mathew, O.G. Samuel, P. J. Samuel, Abraham George, Mathew Oommen, K.C.Samuel, M.E.Baby, Vinod Jacob, P.C.Daniel, Joseph Mathew, Titus Kuruvilla, Reji Jacob & Alex Thomas were present in the meeting. In addition to the pastors, Youth Chorus representatives, Bros. Somu Mathew & Tony Mathew,  KTMCC Treasurer Bro. Roy Yohannan, Manna Editor Bro. P.C. Glenny and Spiritual Dimension Editor Mr. Antony George were also present in the meeting.

True Vision Board Members Bros. Gigi M Thomas, William K., Jacob Mammen, Sis. Annie Jacob, Dr. A.C.Marykutty  with the co-ordination of  the representatives of various Churches have made all the necessary arrangements for this event.

True Vision Ministry has expressed its appreciation to Bro. Jaison George for his name being successfully entered in the Limca & Guinness book of world records by enduring effort to play the key board for a continuous period of 51 hours. He was awarded with a momentum as a token of appreciation and in reciprocation, Bro. Jaison performed his talent on the stage for the audients.

Finally, the winners have been awarded with prizes by the chief guest Adv. John Thomas

It has been a joyous event as pastors and believers of almost all the Pentecostal Churches in Kuwait gathered together to make the event a successful one. A panel of members from various churches along with True Vision ministry with a vision to enable each and every believer to taste the sweetness of Christian oneness, worked sincerely behind it which has come into reality through the event. In addition to the publication of Snehadeeepam Magazine, the True Vision Ministries have Gospel works in various parts of India through charity work.
